Sean Hayden

Born the son of a fire chief, Sean naturally developed a love of playing with fire. His family and friends quickly found other outlets for his destructive creativity. Writing is his latest endeavor.
Always a fan of the macabre, mythical, and magical, Sean found a love of urban fantasy and horror. After writing several novels in this genre, he found, fell in love with, and immersed himself in steampunk. He has always wanted to rewrite history and steampunk gave him that opportunity.
Sean currently lives in Florida as a fiber-optic engineer as well as an author. He was blessed with the two most amazing children he could ever hope for, has met the absolute love of his life, who coincidentally is his partner in everything. His hobbies include grand designs on world domination as well as a starring role in his own television sitcom.

Angela McPherson

Born and currently residing in Midland, Texas, Angela shuffles three busy children (not including her husband) all over the place. She works in a busy pediatric doctors office as a nurse during the day, and writes at night. She is addicted to coffee——who isn’t? And firmly believes chocolate can fix all——especially chocolate ice cream. She laughs a lot, often at herself and is willing to try anything once (she thinks). When Angela isn’t rushing kids around, working or writing, she’s reading. Other than life experience, Angela turns to a wide variety of music to help spark her creative juices. She loves to dance and sing, though her kids often beg her not  to.

G.L. Jackson

G.L. Jackson lives on the west coast with her family and a somewhat bizarre assortment of creatures, in a clear attempt not to become that crazy cat lady your friends and family always warned you about. She writes wherever she can sit and will try any style and any genre on for size, sometimes twice in a day. More than a bit irreverent and always appreciative of a good dose of humor, she calls a Sector 9 Bamboo Secrets skateboard her current weapon of choice. When she’s not writing she’s either reading, taking photographs, traveling, or finding new and exciting ways to make her characters come alive. For years now people have been trying to call her Susan, but the name refuses to stick.

Shoshanah Holl

A literal child of the corn, Shoshanah originally hails from rural Nebraska. Making the radical decision to relocate a whole state away, she now lives in Des Moines where she is attending university and hopes to escape with either a degree or her sanity intact. Her first story was lovingly penned in red crayon some twenty years ago and while she may now have a better vocabulary, she does miss the rainbow stickers and doodles of cats. In her non-existent spare time she reads too much, watches scary movies, attempts to cook without setting anything (important) on fire, struggles with helping people pronounce her name, and works as an illustrator and designer.

Tilly Boscott is a freelance writer, poet and blogger. She won her first writing competition at the age of seven, choosing bouncy, green goo as her prize; she does not regret her decision. Tilly grew up on a diet of Enid Blyton and R.L. Stine, which explains her curious nature and love of fantasy. She does not belong to a library, in case her book addiction becomes a problem in the legal sense.  Amanda Carman

Amanda Carman is a 24 year old aspiring author and illustrator currently residing in Atlanta, Georgia.  She graduated from Berry College in 2011 with a B.A. in Studio Art and an English minor, but it was an introduction to the writings of Joseph Campbell in a World Religions course that had the most profound influence on both her writing and art.  She believes strongly in the power of story in all of its forms, from the monomyth to the abstract stories told in music, dance, and paint.  While she takes her work seriously, and much of it has a dark bent to it, she considers herself something of a goof.  When she’s not working, she can be found performing improv, flailing like a Muppet, or playing a game of hide-and-seek with her kitten, Cricket.

Sandra Graves

Raised in Colorado by European immigrant parents who passed on their love for both great literature and great music, Sandra has had her nose in a book since she first learned to read.  When she isn’t reading, she’s either writing fiction or designing her latest artwork project.  She also owns and operates her own business.

Sandra spent her school years in Denver and her summers attending musical events in the mountain valley of Aspen.  Throughout her youth she was a talented cellist, achieving first chair position in the Colorado Youth Symphony as well as a position in a semi-professional symphony while in high school.  She earned an MA degree in Anthropology from Eastern New Mexico University where she met her husband.  They have been married for more than thirty years.

She currently lives in Minnesota, a state far away from her beloved mountains but featuring thousands of lakes and rivers.  She is combating homesickness by writing a novel that takes place in the years of the Colorado gold rush. She’s looking forward to the necessity of doing on-site research within the next year.
